CA Narayan Mantri started Proteus Advisors, a boutique risk consulting firm then, providing mainly Internal Audit Services to its clients in initial years.
Capitalising on strong background in designing Internal Controls, Costing Systems and skills in Data Analytics of our tech savvy founder, our team kept on adding higher value to our clients year on year basis who in turn kept on giving us repeated business.
After 14 years..., we are now positioned as a full fledged Management Consulting firm providing solutions to our clients in areas of business strategy, business management, business processes, organization, systems and controls.

Gautam Bhat is Director at Proteus Advisors, a Chartered Accountant with vast experience in the industries like BFSI, Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, Chemicals,FMCG, Hospitality, Insurance, Retail, Automobiles and General Manufacturing.
He possess more than 25 years of experience in M&A, Financial DDR, Business Process Reengineering, VC and PE Funding, Business Excellence working with one of the Big 4s and a top Indian Accounting Firm earlier in his career.
He also served as a CFO in a BioPharma Company and has around 7 years’ experience working in TATA Capital, heading strategy, business development and Alternate Channel sales for their Retail vertical. Also, served as certified 'Gold Assessor' under the TATA Business Excellence Model at TATA Group level.
Has comprehensive knowledge of Operations, Customer Centricity, Risk Management, Vendor Management, SOPs, Assurance and Compliances. His areas of expertise include Strategy, Business Planning & Implementation, Marketing, Branding & Sales, VC & PE Funding, Corporate Governance & Compliances, Assurance & Business Advisory.
Narayan Mantri is chief executive and managing director at Proteus Advisors and looks after talent acquisition, skill development and client relationships.
He is fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. His expertise includes designing, developing and implementing business processes, people structures and technological frameworks facilitating change management and organisational transformation.
He is hands on with data analytics and as a functional ERP expert, he successfully designed various business process flows for various industries with strong inbuilt controls.
During his professional career of over 20 years as a process expert and internal auditor, he has served clients from multiple industries including Specialty Chemicals, Engineering, Packaging, Discrete Manufacturing, Transportation & Logistics, Hospitality, Retail, IT/ ERP & BFSI.
Prior to his entrepreneurial stint, he worked with BMR Advisors, an offshoot of erstwhile Arthur Andersen, and N.M. Raiji & Co. a renowned Indian Accounting firm and served some of the largest corporate clients in India and Abroad.
While most business advisors and consultants are generalists, only few have the specialized skills, and at Proteus Advisors, we have team of professionals who are mainly specialists equipped with tools, techniques and tricks of the trade to solve complex client problems.
